General Conditions of Sales

How to make a reservation and useful information

  • The Telephone Reservation Department is open from 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Paris time every day..
  • Deposit : In order to confirm definitively your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required, by means of an authorised debit on your credit card (credit card number with expiration date and cryptogram), a cheque drawn on a bank at the address of our head office - 11 rue Saint-Pierre-Es-Liens - 24000 PERIGUEUX - or a transfer, payable to :

  • Banking fees due to currency exchanges: the payment will be made in euros (€). For any payment made in an other currency than the euro, the customer will take in charge the totality of fees due to currency exchange.
  • Cancellation of reservation by the customer: If you are unable to come at the confirmed date, please inform the Reservation Department by writing. Only a written cancellation – by post or by email here – will be taken into account.The terms of repayment will be applied as follows :
    Regarding Bed & Breakfast:
    • For any cancellation more than 15 days before your arrival date : we will issue a full refund, minus the bank fees related to the payment of the reservation and a minimum sum of 15,00 € for processing fees.
    • For any cancellation between 15 days and 72 hours before your arrival date : we give you the opportunity to carry forward the paid deposit to another stay, until 31st December of the current year. However, in the event of definitive cancellation and in accordance with the provisions of article 1590 of the French Civil Code, “any deposit paid remain definitively acquired.”
    • For any cancellation less than 72 hours before your arrival date : the deposit paid is definitively acquired and the whole number of nights previously booked could be invoiced.
    • In case of no show on the day of your reservation, the whole number of nights previously booked will be due and invoiced.

    Regarding the duplex:
    • For any cancellation more than 45 days before your arrival date : we will issue a full refund, minus the bank fees related to the payment of the reservation and a minimum sum of 15,00 € for processing fees.
    • PFor any cancellation between 45 days and 15 days before your arrival date : we give you the opportunity to carry forward the paid deposit to another stay, until 31st December of the current year. However, in the event of definitive cancellation and in accordance with the provisions of article 1590 of the French Civil Code, “any deposit paid remain definitively acquired.”
    • For any cancellation less than 15 days before your arrival date : the deposit paid is definitively acquired and the whole number of nights previously booked could be invoiced.
    • In case of no show on the day of your reservation, the whole number of nights previously booked will be due and invoiced.
  • Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay.
  • If you have booked your stay via another channel and want to cancel it, you must cancel on the same channel.
  • Arrivals and departures:
    • We welcome you from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. For any arrival after 7:00 pm, thank you for consulting us. We can not guarantee a reception except schedules planned without preliminary agreement from us. An ID will be required upon arrival.
    • On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 10:30 pm at the latest. The duplex must be vacated by 10:00 pm at the latest.
  • Any miscellaneous extras and supplements which are not included in these rates, such as local tourism taxes, drinks, laundry, etc. must be paid on site, in addition to the rest of the balance, the day of your departure.
  • The net prices inclusive of all taxes (except for any legal tourism taxes) shown are subject to alteration which might be due to new taxes, and any modification in the opening dates and seasons, which could occur in 2018.

Services

  • Breakfast: the breakfast is served from 8:00 am until 10:00 am (from Monday to Friday in low season) and from 8:30 am until 10:00 am (Saturday and Sunday and during all the high season) outside or in the dining-room according to the weather. It is included in the price of the B&B. For any booking of the duplex, the breakfast can be served on simple request and for an additional fee.
  • Beds made on arrival and linen provided.
  • Swimming pool: accessible from 10:00 am until 7:30 pm (depending on the weather). Pool towels are provided for free.
  • Drinks: drinks or refreshments can be served on simple request in the places provided for this purpose (lounge area, garden, backyard).
  • Laundry : a laundry service is available on simple request and for an additional fee.

Miscellaneous

Children aged over 16 years old are welcome.

Under the law applicable in France since 1st January 2008, and for our customers’ comfort and health, all our inside areas as well as our rooms, suites and the duplex are non-smoking. If this instruction is not respected we will retain an amount of 250 € as compensation for the disinfection of the rooms.

Because sanitary measures, pets are not admitted in the establishment.

La satisfaction de nos hôtes est au coeur de nos préoccupations et nous faisons tout notre possible pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible. Si toutefois un différend devait survenir et qu’aucun arrangement amiable ne puisse être trouvé, le tribunal compétent serait celui de Périgueux (24).

We do our best to ensure the tranquility of our guests. However, the maintenance of common areas, both outside areas (including the swimming pool) and inside the house, should be done a few hours per day to ensure the beauty of the place.

Le Clos de Vésone reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer by a room of the same capacity or higher capacity without any compensation for the customer. The cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

Our guests undertake to respect the instructions of good-manners which will be indicated to them and the present general conditions of sale. Our guests are committed to make the bedrooms, suites and duplex in perfect condition at the end of their stay and declare systematically and assume financially any degradation they would be responsible. Le Clos de Vésone authorizes to take from the customer's bank account all sums corresponding to the eventual restoration of the places and to justify the amount.

Particularity related to the renting of the duplex: a household service of 50 euros is proposed if the customer does not wish to make the cleaning himself at the end of the stay.

For security and insurance reasons, the number of people can not exceed the capacity indicated for each reservation. For the same reasons, our guests are not authorized to bring people other than those mentioned on the reservation into the property.

The Clos de Vésone declines liability for any damage that may occur during your stay and under your responsibility. We ask you to contact your insurer to verify that you have a travel insurance.

The satisfaction of our guests is at the heart of our concerns and we do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If, however, a dispute should arise and no amicable settlement can be found, the competent court would be that of Périgueux (24).
